Brent grew up in Raleigh, graduated from NCSU, and began his career in IT in 1996. After 20 years working in Corporate IT, he opened his own business — Turnagain Bay Technology. The name pays homage to his love of the outdoors and to time spent at Turnagain Bay in Eastern North Carolina. Three years after starting Turnagain Bay Technology, Brent changed the name to Raleigh IT Guy - reflecting his change of location. Brent combines IT expertise with an ability to understand clients’ needs and to communicate effectively with them.
